How do you highlght different facial features with makeup?

What are some tips to highlight:

cheeks

eyes

mouth

fair complexions

freckles

dirty blonde hair

i want a tip for each part. please and thank you!|||In general, pick one feature to highlight and make everything else neutral so that one thing will pop.

cheeks - instead of regular blush, dust on some powder bronzer (also dust bronzer on your t-zone for a natural tanned look)

eyes - use a light, neutral, matte shadow over the whole lid and apply a shimmery, lighter colored shadow in the area between the crease of your eye and the eyebrow then blend the colors together, line the top lid with a brown or black liner, apply brown or brown-black mascara

mouth - use a lipstain in a berry shade and cover with clear gloss

fair complexion - use a foundation that is a perfect match for your skin tone and type (mousse foundation for dry skin, liquid foundation for normal skin, mineral powder foundation for oily skin), ask for help at the makeup counter if you need it and dust with a loose powder

freckles - use a tinted moisturizer so your natural skin is not hidden by heavy foundation

dirty blonde hair - highlights, lowlights or both|||cheeks-if you have a dark complection, use a lighter blush, or get a light lipgloss, and smear it around on the apple of your cheek..if u have a lighter comlection, use a darker blush.

eyes-if your eye color is darker, it is alwayz good to use light colors. i have dark brown eyes, and i always use a light shade of pink. if you have lighter eyes..go for charcoal, or dark ocean blue.

mouth-if your eyes are dark, it would actually help if you get darker lipstick, or lipgloss. if they are light...lighter colors.

fair complections-use a light foundation

freckles-use a light foundation also.

dirty blonde hair- i think you should go for lighter color makeup. i think it will bring out your facial features, with your hair color.|||For cheeks you really want a nice blush that complements your skin tone. For darker tones I%26#039;d suggest going for a golden undertone while for fairer skin try peachy or pinkish colors.

Eyes you really need to experiment with for yourself. Lighter eyeshadows enlarge eyes while darker colors can add a dramatic effect. When doing eyeliner, try doing just the top and only about a quarter of the bottom in the outer side. Then go over it with the same or slightly darker eye shadow than you used as your base.

Your mouth is what brings your whole face together. For fair skin and blonde hair I%26#039;d suggest you go for a pink or coral lipstick. For evenings out you can do a dramatic red but stay away from browns. Clear gloss of every day works great too. While lip liner can look great to give your mouth shape, do not make the mistake of going a shade that is darker than your lipstick so that your mouth looks like it is drawn on.

During the winter when your skin is probably dull, sweep a bronzer all over your face. if you do a little extra on the apples of your cheeks, you can even skip the blush.

Freckles are cute in my opinion, but if you are dying to get rid of them go for a nice light foundation. I like Cover Girl, personally. When matching skin tone, brush a little along the jaw line. The one that looks invisible is the one for you!

Dirty blonde hair will look great with some golden highlights. Don%26#039;t even have to dye your hair, try a highlighting shampoo. Aussie, touch of sunshine really brings radiance to your do ;)

Good luck.|||Use bronzer and contour your cheeks.|||Cheeks: Use a blush, bronzer or highlighter

Eyes: Eyeliner, eyeshadow, and a volumizing mascara.

Mouth: Lipliner and lipgloss helps make lips look plumper, but bright lipstick help them look more defined and chapely without using a liner.

Fair Complexions: Highlighter, and blush helps make fair complexions have that %26quot;trip to the snow%26quot; humble look. Fair complexions look GREAT with a matte finish, so use a good powder.

Freckles: Play down all of your other features (minimal makeup everywhere) and make your skin free of blemishes, it helps bring out freckles more.

Dirty Blonde Hair: Use shine spray, barrettes, headbands, and suttle hair accsessories. Try exciting hairstyles too, and high ponytails also help make hair stand out more.

Good luck!
