How do I deal with a facial blood blister?

I have a blood blister on my face after I tried to pop what looked like a pimple, but apparently wasn%26#039;t. It is tender and bright red and extremelly big, what should I do to it?|||I had a big blood blister and my neighbor told me to get a washcloth...get it wet and squeeze all the water out of it. Then put it into the microwave oven for about a min. When it comes out it will be very hot, but the heat will draw the blood up and out. It opens the pores. But you have to leave it on the blister for a while. Hope that helps.
