Estheticians or those who know about facials:Giving myself a facial. What order should I apply these processes?

Steam

Deep Cleansing Oil

Facial Scrub

Facial Cleanser

Enzyme Facial Mask

Facial Toner

Moisturizer

I%26#039;m guessing that this is the general order but if not, please or amend any way you like.

Should I steam face while the enzyme mask is on?

Should steam be added at any other process?

Any other tips or specifics on doing these processes?

Would like any useful info. Thanks.|||1. cleansing oil( presumabely the oil is first to remove all makeup) and then facial cleanser

2.facial toner

3. steam skin With facial scrub on and work scrub with pads of finger into skin

4.apply mask leave on according to time amount on product info

5. moisturizer

added note... you can steam with the mask on but it will completely slow down the enzyme acitivity due to the humidity and moisture content contrary to what some say about enzyme masks

... Personally, i would apply a sunscreen after the moisturizer for added protection|||It%26#039;s important to take care of your skin as well as yourself. Reserve time for you: get plenty of rest, make sure you eat healthy, drink lots of water and don%26#039;t stress - it all helps your skin.

There are many amazing homemade facials for every skin type using ingredients you can find in your kitchen. Or stick with organic products such as Avalon, which is my favorite 鈥?other great ideas %26amp; organic products at discount prices can be found at peacehut.com as well as a link to Homemade Natural Skin Care Tips. You can also find many organic facial products at your local health food store if you prefer not to shop online.

Facial Process: Steam to open pores, Cleanse with cleanser, Clean using toner, Massage, Steam Towel again if you wish for a little longer, Exfoliate, Clean off with steam washcloth, Mask w/brush, clean off with steam towel if you wish here as well, use toner, Moisturize

I use Avalon - but you can use any organic product...

Daily Skin Care Routine:

1) Place a steamy towel over your face for a few moments to open your pores. Not too hot.

2) Cleanse with Hydrating Cleansing Milk, wash off thoroughly

3) With cotton ball, apply Organic Vitamin C Balancing Facial Toner

4) Apply just a little Organic Vitamin C Revitalizing Eye Cream around your eyes

5) Massage Organic Vitamin C Renewal Facial Cream all over your face

6) Finish off with Vitamin C Moisture Plus Lotion with SPF 15 to protect your skin

You are now ready for make-up. I use and recommend natural foundation such as: raw minerals rawnaturalbeauty.com

Exfoliate: If you have sensitive skin, exfoliate once a week. If your skin is oily, exfoliate up to 2x weekly. The top layer of skin forms a protective barrier against the environment. Removing too many cells could increase loss of moisture, cause sensitivity, dryness, %26amp; irritation

Mask: Regular cleansing removes surface dirt, but only a facial mask will actually draw out impurities from beneath top layers of the epidermis. Mask help stimulate blood circulation %26amp; leave your skin smoother and softer and helps exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog pores so toning, hydrating %26amp; protecting products work effectively. Mask after cleansing, but before toning. Generally 1-2x per week for dry skin, 2-3x per week if skin is normal or combination, 3-5x per week for oily skin.

Best wishes ;v
