How do you feel about facial piercings, such as Monroe piercings or even nose piercings?

Have you had one? Also, what was your experience like with one? Are the holes permanent? And are they pretty unsightly if you remove the piercing? Thanks for any and all answers.|||don%26#039;t do it. i got my lip pierced when i was 18 and had it for one year and now i have a horrible scar. you will regret it. the longer you have the piercing the more noticeable the scar will be.|||My lebret (between my lip and my chin) hole is permanent, I%26#039;ve had if for about 6 yrs or so....Ive had my eyebrow pierced, and both sides of my lip pierced. I didn%26#039;t keep my lips done, you can%26#039;t see the holes anymore either. I really don%26#039;t have a problem with piercings. Sometimes they look good on certain people sometimes they dont.....I wouldn%26#039;t say they are %26quot;unsightly%26quot; if you take them out. If you get a bigger piercing then the hole may be more noticeable. For work I used to take my piercing out, and cut a little piece of rubber band and stick it in there and you couldn%26#039;t even tell i had it pierced. The holes are not always permanent. It depends on how long you had it in.|||They aren%26#039;t really as attractive as you think they are. When you take out the piercing yes it leaves a scare like anything else does. My husband had his eyebrow done when he was way younger, before I met him, and he has a scare that bugs me. I also had my nose done twice and they are so nasty. They really do have to be cleaned alot and have mucus and stuff get caught on them and build up around them. So if you get sick its soooo nasty and even when you aren%26#039;t sick its not pretty.|||Wrong section buuut to answer your question:

I have my nose pierced but it%26#039;s TINY and classy, not like people with huge diamonds and what not in them.

Even those two piercings you mentioned, as %26quot;minor%26quot; as they may be compared to some of the other options out there, will hurt your chances at getting a job. Very, very few places will allow workers to keep them in during the work day.|||i%26#039;m not sure why you asked this in newborn section, but i have a nose piercing and have had other facial piercings before. the holes are permanent, except the nose, i heard that it will close up from all the moisture but i haven%26#039;t had my out long enough to find out. and yes sometimes they can be pretty nasty when you take them out and the hole will stay visible for a while. my lip hole stayed for months.|||depends on the type. A simple nose stud, i%26#039;m fine with. But i find it entirely unprofessional when i walk into a nice store and the person behind the counter or whatever it pierced to the nines. I mean it%26#039;s their body and they can do with it what they will, but i find it extremely unprofessional!


Bottom line, there is tasteful and tasteless.|||I had the Monroe piercing for about a year and 陆 and once I got pregnant I didn鈥檛 want it any more and I wish I would have asked people before I got it because now I have this little dot on my face of where it was.

Nose piercings dont usually leave visible scars. But I never had one.


I never had a monroe either but I know people who have and you can see the scar it left.


I dont like monroes.|||i have my nose, tongue, eyebrow,monroe and septum done. well my eyebrow closed up a couple months ago and there is a slight scar nothing too noticable tho. im sure i would have a scar under my monroe if i ever deicded to take it out also|||I had a small nose piercing for a while. I like them if you can pull them off. I just had to take mine out for a while and it grew up... you can%26#039;t tell I even had one.|||It all depends on the person.


I personally think any of the piercings you listed could be very attractive, but on the right person.


(aka- i could NEVER get either lol but my best friend looks great with her nose pierced)|||They are a way of personal expression but honestly I find them mostly unattractive: on men they make them look immature, on women they look just gross...|||The holes are permanent and while they are cool now, these are going to scars that are permanent. You may not want this when you%26#039;re older. Really think about it.|||super unclassy...
